RE:RE:News

RE:RE:NewsThanks Uncle, you summarized it really well.  I would like to add a couple of things, this announcement is not about Novocarbon although they made it.  This announcement is about Ashland and what they are doing.  They have built and have started commissioning a furnace designed to purify graphite at commercial levels. A furnace they designed, maybe with help from Graftech, used solely to purify graphite for battery applications.  Novocarbon even purchased six crucibles so that they can have dedicated furnaces to manage the expected demands.  I see it a bit like the dedicated mills at Matheson.  Also the "initial orders" and "anticipated" and "manufacturers" hints there will be enough to maximize these furnaces.

I don't really care for spherical or coated graphite right now.  That's a nice to have down the road.  Don't really care for alternatives at this point - also a nice to have.  The big thing is they have scaled up to producing at a commercial level this year.  No other junior is able to do that on a commercial level next two years and they can do it now.  Big news for those that understand but stock won't move until sales are finalized, we all know that.  But sounds very close to happening.
