RE: news out

RE: news out12-17-03 SPECIAL UPDATE Globetech Ventures (GTVCF:OTCBB) $0.86-0.91 + $0.15 on 79,074 shares. The stock continued its rebound after the retest of the recent lows. Trading back above $1.00 should see a quick move up to $1.25-1.35 and above $1.50 will start the move up to my target of $3.00-5.00 in January-February, 2004. I looks like the problem of the sellout that I talked about on Friday is over and the stock price should accelerate as volume comes into the stock. This week a Public Relations campaign should begin and then after Christmas a road show with European and Canadian institutions and brokerage firms. I expect additional news on the naming of high profile mining people and the head geologist for the project. This is similar to bringing in a high profile manager to a baseball team. Besides bringing the scientific knowledge to a project, a top class geologist brings investors and financers willing to buy stock or finance the projects in which he is currently involved. I hope to get a chance to talk with him in the next week or two to get his estimate of the value of the project. Wheaton River Minerals (WHT:AMRX) has recently acquired a gold property in the same area as Globetech and that American Stock Exchange company paid $150 million in $25 million in cash and $125 million in stock. The property is more advanced than Globetech's but Globetech is paying $6 million in stock. Again I want to say that the acquisition of Globetech's gold property is done for stock and all of that stock is RESTRICTED STOCK. The sellers are limited to registering 200,000 shares each every 6 months starting in September of 2004. The stock used in the purchase was valued at $1.50, which was more than twice the price of the stock when the contract was agreed to. Normally such deals are done at a discount of 25-50% to the current price.
