RE:RE:Rally TodayGUY triggered some automated technical alerts based on the formation of bullish chart patterns (Scotia highlighted a Symmetrical Continuation Triangle from yesterday's action and a bullish Momentum shift back on Monday), so people who buy based on patterns and automated alerts would have jumped in to start things out.  That would probably have triggered some automated algorithm-based buying, so looks like this might be totally technical/pattern-based and not the result of any news/fundamentals.
