RE:Sad Event Shows the Vacuum at the Top of KATNot to take away from your argument (there have and remain egregious examples of a lack of communication from KAT), but would this event be deemed material?  They were not KCC employees and there was no impact on infrastructure, operations, or production.  It is a tragic situation that desperate people need to risk their lives like this but from what I understand in the DRC its extremely common (as in a daily occurrence) for people to get into large mining sites. 

I certainly think a statement from KAT is warranted at a minimum (I agree hearing it via Reuters and Glencore is ridiculous) but personally I don’t think this justifies a halt in trading.
