The WCS spread has shrunk a lot in the last month from over 30 bucks to 23-24. finally looking better

It was hard to hear as he cut in an out a bit, but I belive he said that a larger company a Cenovus, Imperial Oil, or Suncor could be a buyer of the stock as they can realize the credit much quicker

MEG is very good and will appreciate reasonably for sure. No doubt about that. But, Cole actually meant CVE and SU as probably better options at the moment, compared to MEG.

I haven't heard of Cole Smead before, but he recommended and had good things to say about MEG. He likes the lower debt and share buybacks. He commented on the advantage of the the large tax pools

That might be there too.... Whatsoever, they have to balance it while coming up with the inventory BS next week. That could be another catalyst for the oil price. MEG should be trading above $25 soon

US inventories up by 19M barrels, while experts estimated almost 1M drop. Not bad... that is just 20M barrels difference. Thanks to the experts who estimated the US inventories accurate to one-fifth
