The most important question
IMO is: if and how they let shareholders participate. Even if the listing should be sucessfull it's everything but clear how the listing should affect the shareprice of Majestic. And the sheer fact that it is not clear does not bode well at all. What I have learned in all these years that shareholder value comes last i.e after their own interests and after the interests of their Chinese partners. So the phrase "in one way or the other cash will make its way to the shareholders" is absolutely wrong. It's a joke that Western shareholders must hope, that Chinese authorities will help them to get their fair share.

My fear is that all profits will be reinvested. The MGM continues to receive its commissions and Dahedong increaseUnfortunately, I have had very bad experiences with Chinese business partners.s its profits. The shareholders are left empty-handed.

What else can they do with the money except reinvest it in China (and let Dahedong grow)? The money is in China and cannot leave China so easily. The exchange control regulations in China are very strict. Foreign Exchange Controls in China (tradecommissioner.gc.ca)

Lots on US companies are co listed on the HKEX... the Chinese foreign exchange system, there are two main accounts: the current account and the capital account. The current account applies to ordinary recurring business transactions, including trading receipts and payments, payment of interest on foreign debt, and repatriation of after-tax profits and dividends, amongst other transactions.
