MNP Petroleum Corporation is engaged in the business of exploring for oil and gas, primarily in Central and East Asia. The Company is involved in the exploration projects in Tajikistan and Mongolia. The Company has a working interest in over oil fields located in the Fergana basin in Tajikistan. Somon Licenses cover an area of approximately 840 thousand acres (over 3,396 square kilometers).

These guys are real winners.The last time I talked to them, they said they needed two more people from the goverment to sign off on the deal. Now they say it is only one more. So I sent an e-Mail request for a few more questions.

How many old wells are in that field. How many are good enough to be rehabed. When is the start date on the first rehab. One of my friends is an oil nut. He has 5 times as many shares of this thing as I do. That's a lot. Also cost to rehab a well. Thanks ........

According to the company presentation around 230 wells were producing, output declined to below 250 bbl/day

 

We are currently analyzing the proposed work program with our one and once this has been determined we will update the market on the work program.
