Good news & bad news

Good news & bad newsGood news is that MTU has joined the stable of a profitable producer we all knew would eventually be the end game.  Bad news is that almost all of us are taking a temporary paper loss on the transition.

I take about 1.5 cents USD "loss" right now, but MTU was only a minor part of my portfolio.  The loss will easily be made up with Alamos gains in the future.  Unfortunately, we'll never be able to reach those 60+ cent highs seen back in 2011, which is unfortunate.

I enjoy the M&A, but it is HORRIBLE for junior investors when it happens at the bottom of the market.  We'll still get our gains via the majors, but the upside is then severely diminished.
