Environmental sustainability
Environmental sustainability The first thing that brought me to WAYL is the environmental focus of the Langton facility, coupled with the Rockwell automation. This is truly cutting edge technology. Having worked in multiple indoor facilities in Colorado I’ve witnessed the horrible environmental impact of growing cannabis. It truly is a dirty industry. I recognize the market only really cares about the bottom line and often times environmental sustainability equates to increased overhead/costs but for me it feels really good investing in such a progressive sustainable company. They may not be getting credit for this initiative yet but my generation (I’m 36) and younger gens are more environmentally conscious. Down the road they will be recognized for their initiative.
My hat is off to Wayland for building this business in the right way.
