RE:A reverse split (in this situation) will not affect returnNot your best post and I strongly disagree with your assessment. The market will view an RS after dilution as weakness. Can you name one cannabis stock that has done an RS and the stock has appreciated afterwards? TRTC and ISOL (both with their own issues but with significantly greater revenues at the time of the RS) stand out as absolute disasters and there are others.
You cant just do an RS and then immediately uplist, there are volume and SP requirements for given lengths of time. You also decrease daily volume by decreasing the shares outstanding. The market is never ‘fooled’ by an RS. It’s always a sign of weakness. Not to mention we are dealing with a company who already has shareholder trust issues. Will this help their image?
Its simply not necessary with WAYLs revenue projections. If they’re trying to decrease volume and thus decrease short attack’s, it will not work.
Paying for Columbia and the U.K. in all share purchases makes sense now as they were always planning an RS. It was the one thing I hoped management would avoid. I already sent a message to IR and I suggest you all do the same. Flood them with messages and maybe they’ll reconsider.
