What a real bear market can do

What a real bear market can do
I watched a Rick Rule presentation where he stated that in the world, only five teams could've built a Uranium company in any market. (UNfortunately I am para-phrasing a bit here). What he was getting at was that there should be only 5 viable Uranium juniors in the throws of a terrible bear market.

I also heard years ago that in the late 90's there was only one mine, (that's right, only one) that was profitable in Canada; and that was Goldcorp's mine in Red Lake!
...  I am sure Aginco was profitable, but perhaps their non-Canadian gold mines were making money back then, if they owned any that is

That is how bad things can get.

If there was a place to be in this space, it is with McEwen now....

Bear or Bull, this will be my next gold company purchase, the question is when?

Has anyone here been through a full on commodity bear?
Is my statement about profitability vs Canadian mines correct?

I am not convinced we are in one, but with massive currency flows going on and the dollar going up, I am wondering....
