Is this goose cooked?

extreme tank mode, extreme trend down, extreme volume smashing the bid....

Most of the volume is just the held funds pushing around shares to keep the price down IMO. Looks like some selling by staff/contractors but bulk is the At-Market-Finacing through PI. I have HALO at $971,697 of the possible $7 Mil raised (at 1115hrs today). If .05 is their bottom it's a good time to add. IMO

I estimate 800M-900M shares as some shares from prior deals are not yet issued or calculated in, i believe. Also, Halo has an ATM. In any event, while the company keeps executing well, the dilution will take longer to get rid of. My guess is that the next positive catalyst will be in Dec or Jan when i think they get funding fir Bophelo & hopefully GACP approval. Never thought this would drop ...more

It looks like HALO is selling (through the At Market Financing) aggressively each morning. 4.5 million today at 0.045. I have them at $1,285,162 raised through PI but I suspect PI may also be using ANON. I got some at .045 on Friday which surprised me as I had just put the bid in that Morning. If they are selling under ANON,  I calculate their current raise may be closer to $2.3 Million. That ...more

To me the financing of Bophelo is critical & may not happen til 1st qtr 2021. I had hoped it would occur in Nov or Dec. I guess Covid-19 has slowed it down. And i think you are right that a reverse split will happen next yr despite Kiran's denials. Perhaps a 1 for 10 split so 900M shares becomes 90M shares but what price will it be then? 3 cts or 5 cts or 10 cts? If 10 cts, then after ...more

I agree. A 1 for 10 consolidation seems likely. A good reason to try and pick up shares at the bottom. Trying to figure that out is the tricky part.

We will not be better off simply because they do a reverse split, no shareholder value is created by doing this. I am long Halo but this one is by far the worst performing investment I have ever made in my life. Clearly, going on an acquisition spree without giving themselves anytime to integrate these new businesses to create the synergies they hoped for, coupled with using the stock as ...more

I can't speak for drbob directly but I don't believe either of us said we would be better off with a share consolidation. Just that it looked inevitable. If you inferred we thought we would be better off you would be incorrect

I definitely don't want a reverse split because a stock does it almost always goes back to or towards the price it was before the split, in the months to follow. So if AGEEF is 5 cts before the, say 1 for 10 split, the price of 50 cts will usually drop to or towards the pre-split price of 5 cts. Aurora Cannabis was doing that until the liklihood of a Biden victory & decriminalization of mj ...more

The dynamic you described is due without a doubt to the company's operating performance, financial condition and outlook and not driven by the reverse split itself. If the stock price was in free fall before the reverse split because the company is heading in the wrong direction and they do little to change the way they do things, it is to be expected that the stock price would continue to ...more
