Correct.  You can always lose 100% of your investment regardless whether it is a 1 penny of $1 stock.  

My view was personally contextual to say something along the lines that losing a hundred bucks is a limited downside compared to already lost thousands.  I don't think new buyers would be likely to lose most of their investment at these levels and the business at hand, at least not in the short term barring any additional big mistakes. That is far from saying that there are countless other better places for putting your money IMO.
