My concern

I've thought about this over the past couple of days, I'm not very happy that Kontrol isn't using a BioCloud in their corporate office. What does that message say to their investor's and potential clients. This fact is the most worrisome for me. How can you sell a product that detects COVID and not have it installed in your corporate office? I get that there is a stay at home order, but doesn't the Ontario Gov know about BioCloud, and that it detects COVID (heck they gave us a boat load of money) yet they don't seem to trust BioCloud and or have confidence in its effectiveness. This is a perfect opportunity for the Gov and for BioCloud. Couldn't they spin this into a positive? Example, take a video showing staff working in a "Safe Space", sort of promote it to other corporations showing it's effectivness and productivity of having staff back in the office. I don't know, I guess I just needed to vent a bit.

I'm not bashing as I still hold I bunch of shares and have been since the beginning of August 2020, but I am confused as to why WE AREN'T USING BIOCLOUD IN OUR CORPORATE OFFICE.

What are other investor's thought s on this?

You seem to miss the ENTIRE POINT of a lockdown.  It is to have people STAY HOME.   It doesnt matter that the office is safe and can detect covid or not when we don't want anyone travelling TO the office.  You can catch it on your way or when you leave in any of your travels either way, not just at your work destination.  These smaller sizes of office spaces where ...more

In the US it's already happening why is there no push to promote it here this is the market Biocloud should be going after!

You are missing the point . If it works so well , why would they be working from home ?
Comment by canyousayiii on Apr 10, 2021 3:03pm
To argue against myself, it is because it is detection and not prevention. We all show up, and the thing goes off, someone has Covid. It works...but if that individual now infected others, the device worked but it did not prevent an infection. Tracing could prevent spreading afterwards though. Now, what I may have heard in one of their presentations, but I am not clear, the BC detects the virus in ...more

You make a good point! This isn't information we should have to pry to be supplied with.Considering we as investors who have made every effort to find out all we can dig out how bc works, effectiveness, tolerences, sales etc and have few credible answers? This isn't a bash just a sad fact! The average consumer/customer will not be willing to go to these lengths to get answers ...more

Imaarunaway says "I'm stuck at a 50% loss so we wait in hopes this carnival has a happy ending." A smart investor does one of two things. 1.  Sells, takes his loss and moves on. 2.  Or he holds because he knows  its going much higher again and just paitently waits for it to happen. You're still here so I am guesing you are going with #2?

I saw on on the wall while watching their video presentation the other day - it was mounted and if you zoomed in - it looked as if it was working.
Comment by canyousayiii on Apr 10, 2021 3:09pm
Sure. But to me it looked like a set up for the presentation, especially with all the boxes. Put it on the wall, plug it in, and it is working. Probably takes more time to patch the wall (if repainted) than it does to drill the holes, hang it, and take it off. But the folk here are talking about the closed office, and this setup is unlikely permanent in that closed office.

In a few months from now everybody will be vaccinated, and this will be money wasted.

If it works as advertised your assertion is completely incorrect. As for the vaccines, there's already some doubt how well the existing vaccines will work against the emerging variants (not to mention how long they'd be effective for in the first place regardless any variants). Then there is the % of the population that can't and /or won't  be vaccinated as well as the mention ...more

Sick from covid or something else?  Vaccine reaction? If it's from covid it almost makes sense.  You crowd a bunch of people inside a building to get a vaccine shot at the same time that health authorities are telling people not to crowd inside buildings, then you keep them there for 45 minutes breathing the air through their not-totally-effective masks.  AFAIC now that the ...more

What part of the country is that?  Do they have any idea how they got covid?  It's not from the vaccine itself.

Sorry, I see you pretty much answered my questions in a later post.

From Covid and long after getting shots . She and the people she work with believe at the moment that we are not getting the whole story about these variants . That's why in Alberta and Ontario  we are going right back to stage one .
Comment by wilander on Apr 11, 2021 11:28am
Getting the vaccine does NOT mean you have a guarantee you wont get covid.  It means if you do, you wont end up in the hospital and die.  You'll get a more mild case. Efficacy to not get covid again from a vaccine runs anywhere between 67-92% As of yet, of all the people vaccinated,  not one has then died from covid.  100% efficacy in that category. THATS why you get the ...more

This doesn't bother me. The government issued lockdown orders without any caveats regarding biocloud. Perhaps at some point in the future, when biocloud and other mitigation measures are commonplace, governments could place such caveats. For example, only those businesses with virus detection or mitigation measures can stay open.

So there's not one in the reception area. Other posters here have been ripping on the Mercedes dealer for placing it by the door, saying it is utterly useless there.  Maybe there is one in the break room or other common places in the office.  Who knows?
