The area is net precipitation over evaporation. The tailings would be "spread" on the ground, but within an engineered containment facility. No mining company is going to assume billions of ...more

The bulk tailings design will not be approved by State agencies due to no liner to capture regulated contaminated process water. Pump-back wells will be required in adition to a "impermeable" ...more
