RE:RE:Owners pay taxes on dividends.A private business is more efficient than a public one for taxes. And with taxes surely increasing in the future, this makes a lot of sense. This is the reason why Buffet (Berkshire) prefers to fully own businesses. You can move profit from one business to the other tax-free, instead of paying a tax on dividends on top of the corporate tax. Makes a big difference.
