Owners pay taxes on dividends.

If the NPV is 3.1B CAD (from the 43-101 Technical Report of last July), why would the government not nationalise this whole thing if it costs less than 2B? Seems like the margin of safety is there. I'm sure we can figure out a way to get some good expertise without selling to foreign investors.

It matters who owns this company. Owners pay taxes on dividends.

Plan for IQ is to invest 200-300 million more in new structure, government do not care of retails investors there plan is to privatise NMX and wipe out shareholders.

A private business is more efficient than a public one for taxes. And with taxes surely increasing in the future, this makes a lot of sense. This is the reason why Buffet (Berkshire) prefers to fully own businesses. You can move profit from one business to the other tax-free, instead of paying a tax on dividends on top of the corporate tax. Makes a big difference.
