RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:an edda IQ collaboration would have pleased all investorsThanks TtT and dalesio for trying to put the record straight. But to be honest, I am more concerned about the level of corruption in Quebec than some hack story elsewhere. In particular, the participation of Canadian politicians in a very murky deal involving a proven vulture like Pallinghurst (PL takeover of Gemfield an example). I thought I was investing in a country where the rule of law protected all, you live and learn. And I am afraid to say, once bitten, twice shy, no more Canadian investments for me.
I am still a great believer in the Lithium Revolution, and have positions in America (Livent, Albermarle and Global X [also considering Bacanora in Mexico]), and I am now looking at early players in Europe (EMH, Savannah and European Lithium). We've all been well stitched up in Quebec.... :-[

Listen to law court for hours and at the end was clear for everybody not serious.
Testimony by Jacques Mallette and BNC representative was very clear, EDDA was given many opportunities to complete the bid.
Due to COVID-19, with Nemaska in the North/distant, there would be little to no chance of progagation of the virus, at worse, Nemaska et al could have requested/obtained a dispenstion from Quebec/Health Board to accept EDDA rep (s) to view the project ... no attempt was made.
EDDA had the option to have the mine visited by a local representative (s) and did not do so.
One of the bidders (Irish firm) had several reps visit mine/project to conduct extensive due diligence and determined there was zero (0) reason to proceed.
If EDDA was convinced in the project, they would have submit the offer including all documents and deposited bid. Was it all a smoke show?
FYI, to assist EDDA with required documentation, the Nemaska board/special committee mandated McCarthy Tetrault to produce said documents for the benefit of bringing the EDDA offer to fruition, to no avail.
