an edda IQ collaboration would have pleased all investors

not just the board of directors
and would therefore  have been the better solution .
edda it seems  has identical financial means as pallinghurst
and they have the added  merit of  being inclined to include all shareholders .
good for the company and good for the majority of its shareholders
:)
so the survival of the company is and was not at stake here .
why chose the worst solution then ? to please LEGO politicians.

i can t find anything  on EDDA though .
i would like to know who they are .

Tcheck... again I have to say Wow!!! You say you can't find anything on Edda, don't know who they are... YET you say Edda seems to have the identical financial means as Pallinghurst! How is it that Pallinghurst got its bid in on time with the 5% deposit? Edda didn't get a bid in, couldn't decide whether they were in or out and had no way of coming up with the money! Read the 10th ...more

As President of EDDA, and in charge of Group EDDA Zingher Proposal, you have to know that we have given the proof before everything that we had 300 millions euros in Bank account with Zingher without any debt financing. EDDA was set up 3 years ago as a Regulated Financial Advisor in France where it has a very close agreement with All Invest, the largest "socit de Bourse" in France, a ...more

Why, then, did you not have legal representation at the Nemaska hearings to set the record straight? Why, then, did you not confirm your continued interest in the project? I am sure doing this would have gained you the support of the 25000 existing NMX shareholders, instead we feel betrayed by all parties in this process. There is no point now, making statements than mean nothing to the abandoned ...more

Mick, EDDA Zingher offer was a joke. Listen to law court for hours and at the end was clear for everybody not serious.

Testimony by Jacques Mallette and BNC representative was very clear, EDDA was given many opportunities to complete the bid. Due to COVID-19, with Nemaska in the North/distant, there would be little to no chance of progagation of the virus, at worse, Nemaska et al could have requested/obtained a dispenstion from Quebec/Health Board to accept EDDA rep (s) to view the project ... no attempt was made ...more

Thanks TtT and dalesio for trying to put the record straight. But to be honest, I am more concerned about the level of corruption in Quebec than some hack story elsewhere. In particular, the participation of Canadian politicians in a very murky deal involving a proven vulture like Pallinghurst (PL takeover of Gemfield an example). I thought I was investing in a country where the rule of law ...more

Careful Mick, when I said Quebec was corrupt I got attacked by Longs here saying I was "AntiQuebec"...

EDDA was represented by legal counsel in court. I firmly believe legal counsel was not paid by his client and wasted legal counsel, shareholders and the courts time!
