Hey everybody. This is totally f*ucked. You're all correct. This is stupud as hell. And finally we can all agree on one thing (shorters, longs, day traders and penny flippers alike). Seriously... WTF is Ontario thinking? This has to be the most ridiculous thing I've seen in a long time. Soooooo what happens to all of the no names post Dec. 2019? Can they just all of a sudden sell the ...more

I agree, its way  way over complicated..  Ford fu-cke it up, and myself as a stonch Conservative all my life, this is a big disappointment.  However it is not the end of the world by any strech, there are many scenarios that could play out with this whole screwball thing..  I hate to say it but Wynne government plan was so much better on many levels, I guess its a trade off. we ...more

So you invested in the public sector, but voted for someone who wanted to privatize the sector.  Makes sense.  You should be pro-life and open an abortion clinic while you're at it

I completely agree with you but unless the MJ companies say something we have no power. We will see how this lottery works itself out. I feel like they wanted it to look legit and open to anybody but they knew all along it wouldn’t work. They probably got a ton of easy money doing this and next week they will say it didn’t work and now they will do a lottery for companies that already have stores ...more

ummm... no.  You realize one of the rules is you can't be affiliated with anyone else in that region.  Ie, if company X applies for more than one location, all their applications are invalid.  You can only apply for 1 shop in 1 region per affiliation.  This will prevent franchising and corporations from taking over by limiting them to only 1 location per designated region ...more

Like I said  over complicated.  How will retailers get there product.?? from suppliers in other Provinces??
Comment by BUYING4ME on Jan 12, 2019 9:09am
Ae you joking?  All dispensaries have to buy wholesale from the OCS in Ontario.  There are no cross provincial sales.  There are no direct sales.  This has been common knowledge for months now.

I think Just a little easy money for the government... 59,069 people entered times $75 dollar fee equals a whole lot of free money ($4,430,175) for them and that’s just the start. Next is more fees ($6,000 licence fee and a $50,000 line of credit) for these winners that think they can pull off getting a store off the ground in such a short amount of time before the government starts taking ur line ...more
