Gordon Pape (G&M) article s/b a friendly nudge......to Pierre Laurin that PLI needs to be listed south of the border sooner-than-later. Excerpts - 1) S&P/TSX capped health-care index only covers five companies (actually it covers six but point is well made); 2) Only (as in "only" company in this index) ProMetic is actively involved in drug development but it is a small company. and 3) a quick calculation of the market cap of the TSX Health Care sector as a % of the TSX Composite (HC $12 bil / TSX $2.1 tril) = 6/10th of 1.0%. As Mr. Pape suggests... "Who would want to put money there?" rg P.S. I did via Bioniche/Telesta and ended up with two dimes to the dollar. Hoping for the best outcome possible with PLI to recoup.
