Reason for recent pumps in share price?

Reason for recent pumps in share price?Well, today's news announcement by LMNL may explain the recent trading pumps with no previous logical explanation.  "LMNL ... announced today that it has acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares in the capital of Fairhaven Pharmaceuticals Inc. ...  the Company issued an aggregate of 202,308 common shares in the capital of Liminal, representing C$3.6 million of the aggregate purchase price, to the shareholders of Fairhaven, at a price per share equal to the five-trading day volume weighted average trading price (the "VWAP") of Liminal BioSciences' common shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange (the "TSX")."  This  pump could be TV.s attempt to limit the number of shares issued to Fairhaven.  The announcement today does not make explicit the actual date of the closing which could have been any day of say the last week or so,  thus these pumps could easily be within the 5 trading day range of  spoken of in the  announcement today. Just a speculation, but there may be method to the madness.
