RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:PGD now in play! Bidding war is on!This is what happens when you play from the position of power, without actually having the power. The second time Robert is beaten by the big guys. Oyu Tolgoi did not go the way he hoped, got forced out of that one, now DeBeers got 100% for the price they offered PGD 4 years ago, with the benefit of having the company invest 25-30M in defining the project. Unless they are trying to force the hands of other interested parties (if there were any), this is it. The market might be foolish, but it seems that is always right. One thing was clear, the only way the longs would get what they hoped for was a mine or a clear way to one.
This one will not go in the win column for the Friedlands, not if the book is closed with 24c/sh. That is pretty close to what Robert paid for his shares.
