I think they were just lucky in the early days with some surprise gusher wells that just water out. What is surprising is how they are throwing good money after bad into poor economic upside places like heavy oil that has only shown loads of water and of course a probable fortune spent in Peru in a place where they will really have to prove to us how it will payout. I wish we can learn what the Peru and Colombian heavy oil campaigns have cost us investors. Where is the diligent practice common sense any more. Why does the BOD drift along with such non vision and non performance. Very poor unimpressive stock performance.  Looks like their luck in geology ran out. They need a new team with more long term vision it seems and decisions that make sense for the stock. The buy back of shares looks like an accounting strategy so where are the oil men?
