It could have looked VERY promising if Rock Creek had kicked in.  For 10 years the approvals were just around the corner, next quarter, next spring, next summer.........  They never could ...more

To think that RVM was once worth 10x that. Had the rock fall not happened it may have sold for $1 rather than 50c but with copper now sub $3 it was never looking promising for the company.

Even if there would be a time limit I think Revett would just team up with for instance Hecla to secure funding, so I don't think that's the reason. Government agencies just work slow, I guess ...more

Copper down over 6% overnite, quite a takedown on the comex and asian markets. RVM of course has a big % of their production in copper, and this will put pressure on the stock price. Their costs also ...more
