for or against

My 200 000 shares will go against the proposed agreement/combination. What is the sentiment on this board? Opinions for and against very much welcomed.

As an ADI shareholder I would be against but only because Sprott shareholders are getting a sweet deal.

I have received the circular regarding the deal....  complicated because it involves more than just the two entities.... with the sprott limited partnership...etc.... they use nav rather than share price to calculate the premium offered to sprott..... anway 3 shares at 19cent  that equals  57 cents  if the stock does not fall right after the deal....adi are also getting ...more

I voted against. I don't belive in  the iron ore. ADI value is only his cash.   The SCP assets will be used d lost in the iron ore devlopment. In long term the ADI share value is going to zero. SCP is better alone with no deal.SCP NAV is 1.09$ per share, with the deal it is reduced to 0.92$ and will go to zero. My opinion, SCP shareholders have to vote against the deal ...more

If ADI wanted SCP make a cash offer at 1,09$ per SCP share.  That shall be a fair offer.

Thanks for sharing your reasoning for your decision on this merger/ new management agreement!! Were there any other points that helped makeup your mind from reading the circular? It really does come down to actualizing the NAV of SCP as well as as the future valuation of it's equity positions. How can a new management do it? How will they be compensated whether they are successful or ...more

I like the idea but voted against, mainly due to  the management fee based on their NAV calculation.   We've been on that for awhile and look where we are.       It should be based on average stock price to give them incentive to increase the stock price.   Or use some daily average between the two.    I have 490,000 shares and been long ...more

I do not have many shares but I too voted against it......I could not see the positive from my look out

I am a current shareholder, but purchased shares recently so won't be participating in the vote. I am curious why people are voting this down. As I see it, Sprott shareholders are getting a bunch of cash, and a fabulous iron ore asset that will have significant value once the commodity cycle ramps up again. ADI has no debt, no liabilities really, and about 28 or so million in cash.  I ...more

I like the transaction but not the calculation of their fee.    We've been at a sizeable discount to NAV or circa 50% for some time now or over a year.     They calculate the NAV.    I think it should be on stock price or some average of NAV and Stock price or a penalty if discount exeeds a certain %.   Need some incentive to move the ...more
