RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:$50 E-Gift card Bonus avail until the 29thWhile Renegade lives on with just one location in downtown T.O., I believe it could relaunch again on a bigger stage. SIR still does not have a genuine take-out brand in place and that could very well be the name to launch with, perhaps on a franchise basis that rolls out across the land. It would be a great addition to, and hedge against, an all indoor dining business model.

The chicken sandwich take-out market is extremely competitive but also lucrative. Renegade doesn't need to be #1, they could steal just a few % share points from the big boys and come out a winner.

The company was Sportscene group, their flagship brand was a sports bar concept call La Cage. Think Boston pizza that caters specifically to Francaphones.

I don't think Fowler taking this private is an option of any sorts either. If the guy had any free cash available why wouldn't he purchase Sir units when they were in the single digits? Especially when he himself was trying to go private back then? Most likely he is absolutely maxed with personal loans and debt to keep the business going through this.

Im sad that Renegade chicken was not folded into the fund and accelerated. I liked the idea. It was really the only inovation to come out of the head office in a decade (saucing your wings table side anyone????)
