Cold call

Had a call today asking me if I would tender my units to the $4.25 offer. I declined. The next question was "well how much do you want?"
I'm a long time, significant shareholder, who is heavily underwater at this time. Hopefully the recent momentum continues

Rob, imagine... had you sold your shares for $4.25 yesterday and then to wake up to this morning's $4.75 bid? How would you feel about Janes's intentions?

Well, to be honest, that would be completely normal for me. Sell a long time holding and the next day it jumps by 10%.  I've had a position in SIR for over a decade. Mostly purchased in the $11 to $15 range and re-investing Divs along the way. I even have a decent portion of my kids RESP in it. I think at this point I only give them up when they pry them from my hands.  I really ...more

I would rather not sell at all, it's been almost a year now without divs, if I had to wait another year before receiving them again I would rather wait than to sell for a lowball price of $4.75. We all know SIR will likely do another IPO for $10. The dead weight of Canyon Creek will be gone (I am sure they want out of the remaining 3 locations) and they will have a hedge by entering the huge ...more
