This is getting uglier by the day!  I wouldn't fancy being Sandra Levy trying to referee the boxing match if Lembit's proposal comes to fruition! I like how he got the lowball Fowler offer in there - nice work. I am still curious, though, as to how he plans to advance the two remaining objectives of the three he has stated.

My vote is still with Mr. Janes, maybe moreso now. Hard for me to get past the secret launch of Renegade out of Jacks kitchens with no planned residuals for the Fund, then the lowball $3.55 bid, and now the stacking of the board to essentially silence Janes? Not exactly a great track record. Mr. Janes' board proposal is fair, but certainly not what SIR is attempting to do. Let's face it ...more

Agree, agree, agree, disagree that we would have been wiped out. Do you really think enough unit holders back then would have taken the buyout price?

Without Janes at our back, SIR may have sweetened the bid a bit to lure in more votes. Add in their gloomy language of the company's future and it is very possible they could have taken it over for close to half of what we're trading for now, which for many longs would have been at a loss.

I agree fully. The only thing I was disputing was that it would have been a sure thing that they were successful in the first offer.
