Holding up well despite pre-election jitters

...which is good to see, but not a huge surprise.  I don't see who wins the election having a massive impact on this stock...

A liberal win may push income investors to take another look at options available. (The Liberals plan to tax large corporations more, specifically the banks and insurance companies which often form the backbone of income investors portfolios) with the 10% current yield SRV may now get onto the radar of these investors that may have never even considered the sector previously.  im not here ...more

I hope there aren't any income investors who would seriously consider swapping TD or Royal Bank for SRV - they have completely different risk profiles. However, SRV is undoubtedly a great way of using unallocated cash to juice returns plus some SP upside. Eventually, it should return to a turnstyle stock with 6-7 per cent distribution.
