RE:RE:What next?

Sailor, Buena Vista is Disney's corporate entity for home video distribution.

Big Picture seems to be a minor distributor of documentaries, some of which I remember being on 3DGO a while ago, but they no longer appear to be listed on 3DGO's website, maybe due to lack of payment? I wouldn't classify them or Giant Screen (whose titles have also disappeared) as strong players; if SIO fails to pay them, it's probably hurting, hence why they would have asked to take down their content right away:

I think Trooper is right as to the future being bleak for 3DGO. If the majors are indeed "not a desperate bunch", they didn't get there by doing business with companies on the brink of bankruptcy. Renewal season is right around the corner, and if Disney/Paramount even agree to discuss a renewal with SIO, you can bet that the conditions will make it simply out of reach (guarantees, up-front payment and such).

Even if we don't owe money to Universal or Fox (unless they're listed in there under another corporate name like Disney/Buena Vista), rest assured that they're aware of the situation, and might not want to get on board either or would also ask for conditions that SIO can't meet.

Also, I believe you missed a zero in the Neulion debt. Remember that these guys pretty much run the whole thing - here's hoping they'll be willing to pursue their business with SIO despite having trouble getting paid, right?

@Polebrook, have you also noted the $20k debt with National and the $7k debt with Gracenote in the 3DGO debt? One of the last SIO PRs last fall was the oh-so-important inclusion of 3DGO's catalog in Gracenote's database. Money well spent. As for National, does anyone remember that obscure press event last summer that appears to have had virtually zilch impact in the media? Again, a great investment of funds SIO didn't have...
