What next?

Trooper, I read the document you posted from the Deloitte website that listed the creditors. If you add up the creditors related to 3DGo like Neulion, Deluxe, Disney, Paramount, Giant Screen etc. it comes to around $660K (about half the outstanding amount). In the short term I'm sure these creditors will be happy with 60-70 cents on the dollar as opposed to 0 as something is better than nothing in these circumstances. As you pointed out, it means the patent deal may be worth around $1.25m. The question is what happens then with 3DGo and I think the future is bleak if the patents net $1.25m. In reality, the recent financials show it makes huge losses vis a vis the cost of acquiring the content vs. the revenue coming from LG and Samsung 3D TV owners. The NOI has burned some key partners like Disney, Paramount, Neulion and Deluxe and they may be 'once bitten twice shy' when it comes to continuing to do business with 3DGo. If the patent sale generates enough to pay the administrators and relieve the creditors as proposed, then the company has no working capital. Having failed to manage Sensio to any level of financial success, it seems unlikely that the public markets would back the remaining business (which has no patents of any value as they've been sold to WiLan and only two employees) as has been acknowledged in the NOI which notes the lack of success getting Caisse to continue to back the business last year. So my best guess would be a liquidation of assets and a wind up with a delisting based on the current facts.

Polebrook: Again my two cents and with due respect. On the creditors you mention Disney, they are not there, neither Universal, and Fox. Paramount is there for $99.000. Big Picture $125.000. strange. Buena Vista $100.000. strange. Giant Screen $52.000. Hardly a desperate bunch.     NeuLionfor $170.00. Deluxe for $26.000.   KPMG our Auditor for $38.000. Sailor, Buena Vista is Disney's corporate entity for home video distribution.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walt_Disney_Studios_Home_Entertainment#Buena_Vista_Home_Entertainment Big Picture seems to be a minor distributor of documentaries, some of which I remember being on 3DGO a while ago, but they no longer appear to be listed on 3DGO's website, maybe due to lack of payment? I ...more

Sailor Buena Vista is Disney. So if the patents are worth more than $1.25m which extinguishes the NOI financing and the creditors, the real question is whether the board would continue to throw good money after bad with 3DGo or elect to return what remains to the shareholders. This of course assumes that some of the recently disaffected studios would set aside being a creditor in the NOI and ...more

So, I still believe that the patents as a whole are worth at least $1.25M...and I beleive that is the whole batch.  Wilan will be getting them all...and maybe the value is above this amount?  Not sure of this, but I think the restructuring is designed to provide some cash above the $1.25M to allow SIO to continue thier strategic objectives (streaming/international deployment) which will ...more

Thanks, I did not know that Buena Vista was part of Disney. I still can`t believe that we can read this thing so differently. I have been raising red flags, warnings, criticizing management for a long time now and so I`m aware where we stand and it`s not pretty. I`m also aware of certain things and I don`t see the same numbers thrown around. We are selling "certain" patents to 3Dn-LLC ...more

Sailor...I guess I was the one who calcualted the patent value. Just speculation on my part.  See attached link to my post. https://www.stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard/v.sio/sensio-technologies-inc/2?postid=24421037 However, I believe ithe $1.25 million is a minimum amount, as the motion is all about selling the patents to cover the creditors and for cash to allow continued operations of ...more

The patent sale will likely get more than $1.25 million. How much more is anyone's guess, but routhier would not put up $100,00 of his own money if he wasn't sure there would be money left over to run the business and/or money left to payout out shareholders otherwise.

Thanks Trooper. Now ,will SIO go networking to the CES 2016?. We used to acomplish a lot just networking, heck of a lot cheaper. Next on the Agenda should be the meeting and voting of acceptance from the creditors. Are they releasing Q2 Financials at the end of January?. Hopefully they will and should be some forward looking statements and maybe some insight as to current events ?. Are we ...more
