Merger of Equals or Buy Out ??

In answering a question from the RBC analyst on the Primero CC, Joe Conway of Primero suggested that in this low POG environment they are looking out at possible mergers & acquisitions. SAS's prized asset is the Holt Mill. Primero already got the Stock Mill (Williams got it on the cheap).

As Black Fox develops UG (say 6 to 8 gpt to 1,000 tpd or 1, 200 tpd), the all-In costs could approach the $1,000 or less level.

Anonymous helped themselves to over 500k shares of SAS today after the Primero CC....just coincidence??? Maybe, maybe not.

Jolly: Back a couple hundred posts, someone mentioned that the "other Abramson" sells on behalf of their fund. i.e. on behalf of clients looking to exit their SAS position. SAS, appears to be a good bet in this POG environment as I believe that (as per the Q3 CC) Primero would be looking for milling capacity for the Grey Fox Complex in 2 to 3 years, especially as Holt is already tuned ...more

Primero will definitely be looking for additional milling capacity with further growth at Black Fox and Grey Fox but more importantly and as a result of growing evidences that the ore body models are clearly trending into St. Andrew holdings along strike to the south, will be in a submissive position during any expansionary/developmental capacities with St. Andrew to facilitate such growth........ ...more
