Yes.it is ridiculous the amount of stock which trades. No where's to go but down for this company. Its to bad management don't get it!

Still hung up on those stock options eh Dav? Lol There's only 118M shares outstanding. 45M of which are in institutional hands. I agree I wouldn't mind more institutional involvement but sadly the market sucks. 1.28 is a very good entry point into the stock with high probability for a takeover.  Santa Elana has exceeded expectations..one day we will be rewarded.

Lol.yes I am echo. But u are correct.1.28 is a good entry point and yes u r right on the low amount of shares . Low strike prices on options for management is something I can't get over.Where I work our strike prices are always high which gives us incentive to create value for shareholders. The market for gold/silver has to turn around.soon one would hope.

here is my problem. I have been faithful to this company. Great company, great future. But something that this company can't control is who buys the stock and who sells. Regardless of the price of silver, we are still ahead. Our costs are $11.  Today, the price of silver is up again, like Friday, and yet we are fighting to get buyers at 1.27! So, great company, but something management ...more

The company has two promoters that work in house. They tell the world that Silvercrest is a great investment. They get paid and get bonuses. Eric and Scott are at trade shows promoting this stock. Sometimes nobody listens. Maybe on Wednesday their interest will change when they see the earnings.

IMO, put this one away, enjoy the summer and re-visit again in the fall.  No sense in stressing about the sp in the short term.  Market conditions are cr*p.  Future looks bright, but as someone stated earlier, no one is paying attention to this right now.  Excellent entry point.

YAY!  We have a buyer! 1300 shares and 1 cent up!.  1700 shares moved today on an UP day for Silver.  Even Avino and Great Panther has more liquidity than SVL. Takeover will happen...mark my words.  Pan American just loaded up 300Million Line of Credit facility early this year.  SVL would look real good with PAA flags flying around Santa Elena :) My two cents...

Agreed.  At what price?  Care to speculate?

Sadly, I would say 50-60% premium (usually the going rate) on a 30 day share price close average (assume $1.30)...so let's say $1.95 - $2.08 share price.  I say sadly because I would still be underwater. Deal would most likely be a cash + shares.  Total value of deal $260M for SVL. (~129M fully diluted shares @ ~$2/share).  That would be a fair price in this market...not my ...more
