RE:RE:Jet fuel prices up over 125% since last year

RE:RE:Jet fuel prices up over 125% since last yearFacto man you now sound like Rouge posting factoids without understanding them.  One of the dumbest statements I have heard on this board " In 2013 and part of 2014, oil prices varied between $110 and $130 USD, and North American airlines were profitable."

This statement taken out of contest is meaningless! Sort of like if I said In 2013-2014 oil prices varied between $110 and $130 and Air Canada stock at the time was less than $5 a share therefor AC stock should now be trading at $5!  I guess according to the way you are using facts Return just might be right!

Also in the years you mentioned fuel price was about 30-35% of airlines operating cost today it is almost 50%.  Also, you fail to take into account 9 years of inflation and so on and so on!
