I'm actually of the opinion that Aurora should avoid Canadian takeovers until it can show a decent revenue stream. Throwing more debt and dilution on the books at such high multiples makes absolutely no sense.
If they need to do takeover to get a foothold in another country, that's another story all together which I would support.
Medreleaf is trying to cash out for its shareholders for a big win...to snap them up after having already grabbed Cannimed is an unnecessary gamble IMO and compromises the balance sheet.
Continue with organic growth and focus on building our own greenhouse space rather than pay huge multiples for someone elses..
Importantly...dont let ego of becoming "the largest Cannabis producer in Canada" be the driver of takeover decisions..If capacity is justified at a price..fine...Just don't pay through the nose and bet the farm...
I've been investing in public companies for a long time and seen more than my fair share of fools over leverage themselves and get their heads handed to them..

Couldn't have said it any better. I completely agree with you. Dilution of cannimed hurt investors who bought in higher than 9. I said in a post few days ago that we need to see the big revenue come in from medicinal and recreational so this company can reach $15 again. My predicted target is 15 by end of summer. Vote will pass on June 7. Target price will be $11 by mid to end of May.
