RE:RE:Buying at Maximum Pessimism I am prone to be pessimism about this stock, demographics are against the company on this. The younger part of the population are not wine drinkers (if my kids are indicative of their generation), older drinkers are cutting back for health reasons and the Canadian market is over supplied. Peller may have the size to weather the downturn but there are others who just have to get out of the wine buiness. Too many rich people from Toronto decided to set up vanity wineries and now there are just too many of them to all be profitable. 

There is no way that Reif will get their asking price for their land unless it is converted to urban development, which given the current greenbelt restrictions, just isn't going to happen.
