Acumen Capital Dark Horse pick

Acumen Capital Dark Horse pick The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Jan. 17, edition that analysts at Acumen Capital have named Andrew Peller one of their "Dark Horse" stock picks for 2024. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that the analysts say Andrew Peller has "lost a surprising amount of investor conviction" and remains "under the radar" and "could surprise to the upside" this year. The Acumen stockpickers rate Andrew Peller "buy," with an $11 share target, matching the consensus. The Acumen analysts say in a note: "Andrew Peller is returning to historical levels of performance following a period of margin compression. The sale of Port Moody is expected to further delever the balance sheet." The Globe's guest columnist Brian Donovan said in the Number Cruncher column on Aug. 24, 2021, that Andrew Peller was in a recovery mode. The shares could then be had for $8.46. The Globe reported on June. 20, 2022, that Acumen Capital analyst Nick Corcoran rated Andrew Peller "buy." The shares could then be had for $6.23.
