Couple additions I think I heard: Lewis will be back in South Korea this month, has been in the USA working on something that will be apparent soon.  Concrete pads within 45 days.  Expect structures to be going up in 60-90 days. My opinion, this was a positive update and it sounds like there are more positives upcoming "shortly". I am looking forward to the update on Spain ...more

All looks better than I expected Plansee Group USA HQ is very close to New York State in Massetuschetes. He has been there before in the past for something. No probs for me.

The presentation goes by pretty fast and is all a bit of a blur but did he suggest that the KfW bank is flexible and might be willing to extend the repayment holiday if needed?  I'll have to rewatch it once its posted on YT. . . whois

"They are open to expanding beyourd 1.2 Mil tonnes." Did I hear 2.1 Mil tonnes ? Yowza ! That is why this process plant has so much room for expansion from the start.

- Engaged a PR person in SK - Long-Term Debt:  $50.1M Can has been reduced by 20%, but LB doesn't say how it was done. Most likely debt converted to shares, plus sale of new shares. - LOS Santos: is in care and maintenance....good new coming soon.   Valtriexal still in permitting phase. Most likely NR will state permitting is complete. Sangdong:    Phase I  ...more

To provide additional comments: - LB is currently in New York. We don't know if it is for family or for business. - If I recall correctly, in the MoneyLife Interview, LB said something to the effect of tungsten mines in northern Canada were not economically viable due to extreme weather conditions and other logistics. So basically there are no large economical mines in the West. (more on ...more

I thought he might be in New York to promote the stock to potential investors but if he's there to get more customers for our Tungsten that's even better
Comment by QuarterDollar on May 10, 2023 5:48pm
He could be there for stock promotion, but I think he is there for negotiations as the US is willing to dump money into mines i.e. Biden's recent visit to Canada, for primary consumer access to the ore. Secondly, it is going to cost well over $150M US to expand to 2.4M tonnes. So it is better to vie for free money while it is there. Thirdly, US don't want mines in their backyard ...more

Presentation Clarification Required from LB: Slide 16 states Start of Sangdong Phase II by 2026/2027, which aligns with Phase I production timeline. Slide 18 states Phase II Expected Start of Production 2026/2027 and Phase I is starts in 2025.   Which one is true? The timeline for the TO plant is H1 2026 which doesn't align with Slide 16 as the TO plant is dependent ...more

- Looks like Phase I Production Starts Jan 2026 - According to IP, it looks like Phase II Production starts Jan 2027.  If it takes 1.5 years to complete Commissioning and Ramp-Up for Phase I, hence I doubt Phase II will start on time.  - As for the WO3 external concentrate, according to page 16 of the latest IP, it is schedule to last 13 years.  That would indicate the ...more

From the Pesentation page 16 :- "Sangdong’s ore body is larger than the resource show, as some levels were not considered in the resources because having no exploration data. Additionally, there are two additional ore zones (Sangdong East and Sangdong West) with huge potential, that could extend LOM even further." LOM means "Life Of Mine", and Lewis did say he would be in a ...more

Not sure what I"m missing here on the dates. Proof reader needed. From slide 23 at the bottom :- "Sangdong construction completion in 2023, ramp up in 2024, 25% of construction already completed. Strong economics FCF of ~US$300m p.a. by 2030"
Comment by QuarterDollar on May 11, 2023 1:59pm
" Strong economics FCF of ~US$300m p.a. by 2030"   $300 US FCF p.a. is an error. It is NOT Per year..... it is cumulative.
