RE:ALA vs AQNOoops, just noticed a typo. ALA for 1 year is actually -18.08%  (that's more like it!!)

I just checked the returns for the two over various periods. The one that is the most intersting to me is the 10 year as my wife & I have held both for around that long. AQN is +301,73% abd ALA is -17.81%. 

Oh yeah, that ALA is quite the winner alright.   :-)

Also, AQN has way better management and way better assets so a much brighter future. I still contend that the WGL assets are a mess and in need of some huge maintenace dollars. The only good thing about ALA is RIPET.
