Vega

Thx mate!
I must have missed this "one" article while I was at med school studying  human anatomy so that I could possibly, one day, save your life. As far as my investments are concerned, I owned aqn (and npi, and others) before you discovered the potential of Green Energy last week.   Anyhow no point in clogging up the bullboard...

You seem to think that you know all about me and that I attended a community college and am new to renewable energy stocks. Actually, I attended an accredited four year university in the U.S., got a BA and did two years of post graduate work in Canada. Furthermore, I've been aware of renewables for a long time and have traded them before. However, I am new to the idea that homes could be ...more

One more thing that I forgot to mention. You said that your parents spent a lot of money on your education. My parents didn't have to as I got scholarships and assistantships throughout. Cheers.

That's great! Not sure about insulting anybody that ACTUALLY follows the Kardashians and calling random people you don't know Idiots on a stockhouse bullboard BUT I guess we all have off days.

Vega I don't hold ANY hard feelings.  life is too short. A few things for you to consider and look into: #1 The province of Quebec heats their homes using hydro which is much cheaper there than the rest of Canda due to the enormous James Bay/Manic Hydro projects. #2 The article you posted dealt with a European politician's view. Europe does not have access to large reservoirs of ...more

Mas, I was doing some research and I ran into this article from the Globe and Mail this past May. I am posting it here as it still applies. Also note that AQN is outperforming ALA today by a long shot. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/markets/inside-the-market/article-clean-energy-stocks-are-sailing-through-pandemic-for-good-reasons/

ok thx Vega. I think somewhere things got lost in the translation. I OWN AQN. I have owned it for awhile but decided to go overweight with it about 2 months ago.  I already posted that owning both ala and aqn is not a bad play.  My dividend yield in ala is much higher than aqn so that Aqn would require a 2.5 % increase in sp to match my profit in Ala.   I own both for different ...more
