RE:RE:$900 Offer of AQN Common Shares @ $17.10 per share This actually fully explains the dump from the pump at the mid $19s a few weeks back.

Be patient.  A similar deal happened to Xebec Adsorption.  They sold shares at $3.60 when it was trading at $4.00.  The stock essentially dropped to that range, but once the financing deal was done, it has now skyrocketed to $4.50.

You don't buy and flip utilities, you buy them for dividend and safety in uncertain environment.  This will be trading again above $19 in no time.  In the meantime, if you got in pre ex-div date.  Enjoy the payment next week and carry on.
