There are a lot of details missing...

About the deal with Alamos gold. For instance what happens with the deal between Heliostar and Argonaut gold? Who gets the money owed? I hope anither suitor comes and makes an offer more palatable for retail investors. We need at least double the price offered by Alamos gold. But things could be much better even if we get a 35% premium plus a $50.00 million set aside for spinco to get a head start so that no dilution will take place, even if there is a share consolidation.

"Shares issued in SpinCo as part of the Exchange Ratio do not reflect a planned 10:1 share consolidation upon SpinCo going public." Key point is when SpinCo goes public.  My understanding is that share holders will get 1 for 1 shares prior to going public which will be after June 2024.  So if you own 100,000 shares of of arngf you will be 100,000 shares of SpinCo.  Once ...more

SpinCo, which imo is nothing more than a shell entity whereby the ethically challenged ARrogues will attain the ability to dispose of the AR dregs that Alamos rejected as part of the deal, this SpinCo will go public do whatever is necessary for the gig and then do the 10/1 consolidation followed asap with the first dilution.  It seems apparent that some here have not experienced being fleeced ...more

Psych01 don't you think it's time to move on? Why waste time on this board

Lifex---because I believe in a free exchange of ideas, which ideas might at times conflict with the likes of yourself and others---is that ok with you?  Rather, why not explain the viability of SpinCo under the management of those folks who previously managed Magino so very well, were ever so ethical with language as they conived behind the scences to concoct this thing with their buddies at ...more

You are blaming the wrong management here.  Young only came on board in December with 70% of project constructed, poor liquidity, hedges, mill issues, labor issues, inadequate feasibility study, etc. I have been trading Argonaut since 2018, you would need to review info back when original construction decision was made as it was a very close call at the time. Me thinks someone skewed the ...more

Hey exprt, who the hell agreed to the deal with Alamos? And why are we kept in the dark of who will benefit from the former deal between Argonaut and Heliostar? Why is this information not clarified in the buyout by Alamos gold? Shouldn't this be spelled out? Don't rush to make a comment without thinking things through.

Heliostar deal belongs to spinco as per IR  Young in conjunction with board and largest shareholders agreed to the deal as it was the best option to ensure continuity of operations while partaking in Magino under Alamos. I don't know about everyone else but I sleep much better at night having Alamos behind Magino. At least you won't be getting an unexpected placement every few ...more

Lfxpt. If Young and his management team were experienced in building and starting up a large mine, they new from the start the timing and costs needed. So why didn't they secure what was needed? There is no excuse for this situation.  This management  were as bad if not worse than the last. And then we had to sit through Young telling us AR it's worth a whole lot more!!! & ...more

Because the debt package was already in place. Funding did not even account for construction of TMF There wasn't any way to take on additional debt as it would have invalidated existing debt covenants  You could have kept selling NSRs to Franco but that would have gotten too expensive when you run an NPV calculation on those. Last resort was dilution, like I already said did you want to ...more

So are you saying that Young did not know all this when he stepped aboard?
Comment by Lifexprt on Apr 15, 2024 3:10pm
He did  Had one chance to make it work and it didn't happen Anyone under $.50 cents will still make money  His average is around there

Life... you might want to factor in the millions of free shares at .275 before you calculate his average. lol. Just my opinion.

Lifex--thank you for reconsidering and allowing me to make comments, much appreciated;  would you consider being less patronizing though, making your case without appearing to represent Mr. Young et al, unless of course you do in some manner officially represent Mr. Young et al.  Whether you're just inferring or whether you have a connection within their ranks, can we ask for a date ...more

"And then we had to sit through Young telling us AR its worth a whole lot more." Exactly.  At the same time he was spinning his b.s. telling us AR was very undervalued he was selling it out for peanuts. This management is worse than the last in my opinion. Spineless two faced  CEO now telling us we got a good deal.  ha ha ha. We get the worthless clapped out Mexican ...more
