From what I see there's only 1 analyst following GCM.
Isn't that something on which GCM could do a better job engaging other analysts?

I think that analysis of GCM by large firms, like big banks, would be much more relevant that from small analyst firms.

Just wondering if anyone else saw the story of the two brothers in South Africa that ran a Cryoto Exchange and have disappeared with $ 3.6 billion in Bitcoin . Lawyers hired by the looted investors say there`s not much chance of recovery although  "authorities are on the look out for large transactions " ! I thought transactions were anonymous . How are ransom criminals using it ...more

Yes i saw it. And its not the first such case. Bitcoin is outside the legal / financial system of any one country so when someone steals your bitcoin you have no recource thru the legal system of any country. Isnt that wonderful. The only time governments get involved in bitcoin is when they hear someone made a lot of money trading it because they want a cut of the profits..ie tax. On the other ...more

And since 2017 there have been 65000 blackmail cases with ransomware paid in Bitcoin but less then 2% of Bitcoin transactions have been for legitimate retail transactions . It`s hard to believe government have let it go on this long but in the end as always investment banks are in control . Until the bottom falls out then tax payers clean up the mess and everybody can`t believe it happened. No ...more

Also there is a long article on Kitco about new gold trading rules with Basil III that come into effect Monday . Some experts say it will take gold to $2100 by Jan. 22 . It all has to do with allocated and unallocated gold . Unallocated gold is our main problem .  Short version . Governments have to have control of the currencies you mention.  Yes, the central banks of the world are given exemption to counterfeit money (i.e. fiat currency) with no restrictions.  That is why the US Constitution says (and this law of the land has never been overturned, although it is not currently followed) that only gold or silver shall be legal tender of the Republic.
