OK, so now Biden's own publicly disclosed Red Line has been crossed.
What will  the US response be?
He could fudge the lines in the sand; remember Obama's non-response to Assad about the use of chemical weapons, and then he let Putin come to his rescue?
Or he could take a precise, risk-calibrated strike which will be mostly for show; e.g. Trump bombing an insignicant Syrian air base, ( and even Fareed Zakaria lauded him for acting presidential)?

Or, or, or..will he succumb to some of the hawkish neocons around him?   Ever since 1979 there has been a faction itching to bomb Iran.  There is even the memorable quote from a Joint Chief who said  "A time will come when we will crush them (Iranians) like ants."

Complicating factors are
(a) There is an on-going 4 month long hot war in the region with missiles, bombs, drones fired at abandon.
(b) This is an election year and DJT will not miss an opportunity to taunt JRB as a senile, weakling.  (c)  Most importantly, Bibi has been hankering for decades to drag Uncle Sam into an all out attack
on Tehran...and what better time than now to rescue his own sorry a$$$$.
