WHY I SOLD MY SNC STOCK

Greetings folks,

Felt like sharing a very interesting conversation I had with a childhood friend yesterday.

But before, let me remind you i own snc stock and i am long. Anyways, nobody on this forum has the power to move the stock up or down. The proof is Gabriel, the best snc spokesman the compangy has ever had and the stock hasen't moved an inch in the last year.

Many of us wonder why we are the only ones to see an opportunity here. This could shed some light on how the rest of them think.

So, after the normal chit chat with my friend, we started talking about the market. I mentionned with eager the great opportunity snc was. Laughter...relax my friend, i am in the construction business remember. I know the business and I was heavely invested in snc until after q1 2020.

Then he went on to explain to me in details why he decided to sell all snc stock after q1 last spring (by the way, he is convinced this is the same reason why the ceo sold his stock just before q1 earnings):

First, they are implicated deepely in lstk projects. Not only are they difficult to predict in best of times, but with Covid, the negative impact on lstk projects will last way into this year (2021). He gave me the example of his business, all the condos he sold pre-Covid for delivery in 2020 were at a loss. New sanitary rules for workers and higher prices in materials were the main reasons he lost money. At best, snc's contracts might provide a 50/50 responsibilty with customers. But even then, it will be difficult not to lose money.

Second, they are still dealing with ressources projects and restructuring (completing projects, selling and closing of compagnies etc.) All this has a cost. Lets not forget they also have litigation legacy lstk projects and suprises like last quarter are inevitable.

Bottom line, even if snc has a good quarter and ps rises, because of the ongoing problems of the company for the last years and the lack of trust of many investores, a tougher quarter or a bad headline will bring the stock right back to the floor. In French we say, chat chaud craint l'eau.

In conclusion, he believes that snc might have an upside potential in the midterm (will need many positive quarters), but meanwhile others peers are doing great NOW.

In case you wonder, after selling snc last spring, he bought wsp and since then the ps is up almost 100%............... (bast$$d!).

Quand chacunes de vos intervention est pour tenter de miner la confiance, il est bien clair que vous n'tes pas long.... Le projets a cots fixes sont termin ou presque en passant. Vous tentez de dpeindre SNC et ce n'est pas la premire fois

Vous avez travaill fort pour inventer cet ami qui a vendu SNC, et utiliser cela pour dnigrer avec des fausses vrit mais ils est bien clair que votre position n'est pas celle que vous dites.

Pour quelle raison vous dites possder SNC et venez tenter de convaincre de s'en dbarasser, vous tes malicieux, malhonnte et menteur.

Pour rtablir certaines de vos info.... Lstk probablement termin ou presque, Insiders on fait d'importantes acquisitions sur le march rcemment, Valeur comptable plus lev que le prix de l'action, Revenus et carnet de commande remarquable, Actifs importants avec autoroute 407 et le reste de SNC capital. Atkins a lui seul vaut la capitalisation boursire actuelle, Rajoutons SNC capital et SNC

La moindre des choses de la part de ceux qui mise sur une baisse serait l'honntet. . Annoncez votre position et donnez vos arguments, mais mentir sur votre position et tenter de dnigrer avec des profits informations de demie vrit est pathetic et preuve de votre nervosit.

Oui a existe ... quand il y as de la frustration, que quelqu'un a perdu beaucoup d'argent bien a peut faire ca!

Je possde 50k actions de SNC avec un cot moyen de 21,5$. Quand je voit des menteurs je songe a ajouter chaque foi un 10 k de plus .... Voil comment je voudrais ragir, mais je me gre pour profiter si le titre baisse encore.. . Donns vos actions si vous le voulez, ils en ont besoins et je profiterai aussi

Voyons donc, a ne change rien. Ceux qui ont beacoup d'actions en ont ras-le-bol de voir des sommets du march et des wsp et stn, mais ce n'est pas parce que quelqu'un sur un board parle de vendre qu'on va vendre.  C'est absolument dsolant par contre, snc quasiment au mme prix qu'en mars, il faut tre TRES patient, ceux qui ont perdu 50% et plus... la valorisation n'

Finalstep  , tu commentes souvent que les gens sont trop emotif... ca va dans les 2 sens ;) c'est fou quand quelqu'un commente pas en ton sens comment tu grimpe dans les rideaux. Ceci dit , traite moi pas d'imbicile svp , je croix en SNC aussi ! parcontre il faut se calmer un peu svp . on veux tous un 30$ et 40$ mais personne , personne ne connat l'avenir , on peut seulement
