RE:RE:RE:RE:Any opinion!Albertan, Stop complaining. Investing in stocks to some extent is also gambling. Some things pan out and some things don't. Sometimes you get the timing just right and sometimes you wait a while. If you have lost patience with Avnel, then sell out and invest somewhere else. You seem to be advocating selling the stocks that haven't had a run in favour of those that already have. It's true that you may catch the tail end of a run by doing that, but it does not take away from the fact Avnel will have its day too. I find the point you are making to be rather crass, not because it isn't true, but simply because it is always true. There are always other stocks that you can point to that are going up. I sat on my gold mining stocks for 18 months while I watched every other sector go up. I did not complain. I was confident in my investment thesis and I waited. My investments are now up 400% this year. Now I am waiting on Avnel and I am sure that my patience will be rewarded. If we could all time the market perfectly in the manner you suggest, we would all be billionaires.
Cheers Oilsyd.
