RE:RE:RE:Why the sell off today?I was merely just offering a partial and potential answer to your question. There's more push and pull around the strike prices near option expiry, and that's the only point I was trying to make. If there's a clear impetus for AVO to move higher or lower tomorrow or Friday, you'd be likely to see some bouncing around the next strike price. I wouldn't worry too much about the open interest @ $23. There are as many people that have sold obligations as there are those who would like to profit from owning them, so the only thing that probably ought to be taken from the higher open interest is that there would likely be even more push and pull if AVO were to see that level in the next two days. Next week, I'd reckon we'll see a little bit more direction in the trade.
