RE:XRE/VNQ

RE:XRE/VNQStocks are in buyback blackout. Some REITs are at risk of being kicked out of their respective index/ETF indices from loss of market cap. U.S. treasury supply will be huge until year end putting pressure on bond yields with the rising bond yields pressuring stock market indices and CTAs being forced sellers of billions in stock holdings not much lower from here while energy prices rage out of control creating upward pressure on inflation.

We all have different risk tolerances. There is nothing wrong with selling a position at a loss if necessary to sleep better at night. The only real mistake would be puking your entire portfolio at market lows because of a margin call or because you could not stomach any further losses. Some REITs like PMZ are still trading rather well if you want to shore up some liquidity. There is no guarantee that liquidity will be plentiful at good prices when you require it for a margin call.
