RE:RE:RE:Governments should back away
So again, I agree with what you are saying. My reference of "stating the very obvious" related to the government spending or overspending. It indeed states the very obvious. You differentiate in that the timing of deficit spending during inflationary times versus during a downturn, to which I also agree. The root of the problem is far too much government spending to begin with (again stating the very obvious), yes now so more than it should be. I have been sounding off on this for quite some time as well, who hasn't.  And Yes I also agree (at the risk of getting political) that the democrats are out of control as they normally are. Having said that Trump will be as bad or worse plus putting in protectionist policies via insane tariffs will put their economy over the cliff. The bitter pill will get swallowed one way or the other and it will bring in a much needed recession (sounds terrible) but unfortunately no one has the will to enact what is required right now to set us straight as it is political suicide. I in no way meant to be disrespectful in my comment nor did I mean any offence, it just seems it has been the elephant in the room for a very long time now thus the stating of the obvious. My apologies if it was misinterpreted.
